The sinister chest, located in the Yanille Agility dungeon, always rewards nine noted herbs when opened: three grimy ranarr weed ({{item_207}}), two grimy harralander ({{item_205}}), and one each of grimy torstol ({{item_219}}), grimy irit leaf ({{item_209}}), grimy avantoe ({{item_211}}) and grimy kwuarm ({{item_213}}). Opening the chest requires a sinister key, and the key is used up when the chest is opened. Depending on the price difference between the keys and the herbs, it can be very profitable to buy sinister keys, open the chest, and sell the resulting herbs. The price of sinister keys jumps around a lot, but it's not uncommon to buy them instantly for far below the market price. Regular method (up to ~480 chests per hour) With a slash weapon and an inventory of sinister keys, run from Yanille or Watchtower to the Yanille Agility Dungeon's northern entrance in the house just north of Yanille. Slash the web, go down the stairs, cross the balancing ledge, and enter the obstacle pipe to reach the sinister chest. Drop 5 sinister keys to make inventory space for loot. After each opening, the chest can be opened again in 6 seconds (10 ticks). Be aware that opening chests poisons your character. After using up all the keys, bank your loot, reapply antipoison if needed, and repeat the process. Stockpiling keys at gravestone (up to ~520 chests per hour) With a slash weapon, a locator orb, and an inventory of sinister keys, run from Yanille or Watchtower through the Yanille Agility dungeon to the sinister chest. Do not open the chest; instead, die near the chest by locator orb and poison, or other means. Respawn in Edgeville, grab a locator orb and a full inventory of keys, then die to nettles to fill up your gravestone with the keys. It should now be holding 54. After that, grab another inventory of keys and make your way to the sinister chest. Use up all keys but leave at least 1 item in the gravestone (a locator orb) so it doesn't despawn. Then die or teleport to Edgeville, and before every trip to the chest refill your gravestone with 2 more inventories of keys.
