Forgotten brews provide a stronger Magic boost than Ancient brews and restore Prayer, while reducing melee and Ranged stats. This variant combines one Ancient brew(4) with 80 ancient essence for each Forgotten brew(4). It assumes that no Alchemist's amulet or prescription goggles are used. The Amulet of chemistry does not affect this recipe because it does not create an eligible three-dose potion. The output is either a non-dose item or is already created as a four-dose item. No amulet charges are consumed, no replacement amulets are required, and the production rate, experience rate, click intensity, and output quantity remain unchanged. The selected recipe produces the four-dose item directly, so no decanting is required. The quantities in this variant assume approximately 1,960 completed items per hour. Players should withdraw the potion bases together with the required quantity of the secondary ingredient, process the inventory, and restock as soon as the batch is complete. It is recommended to enable RuneLite's built-in Item Charges plugin, with both "Amulet of chemistry charges" and "Amulet of chemistry notification" enabled. This displays the remaining charges and notifies the player when the amulet crumbles, so a replacement can be equipped immediately.
